Dear parent and guardians of the Class of 2020,

I hope you are all doing well. Happy Lunar New Year to those celebrating! It’s hard to believe so much has gone by since we’ve seen you last. Please see below the message sent to your graduates today regarding the first option to pick up diplomas at Stuy this month. The survey is accessible to parents/guardians as well as graduates. There will be more dates added. Please let me know if you have any questions and/or concerns.

Hope you and your family are doing well.
Best,
Dina

Dear member of the class of 2020,

Congratulations on your graduation last year! Your diploma has been prepared and is ready for pick-up! We are looking to hold a series of dates when you can come to Stuyvesant to retrieve your diploma. The first two we are offering are Wednesday, February 24th and Thursday, February 25th, from 9am to 2pm. Again, these two dates will not be your only opportunity to pick up; additional dates will be added this Spring.

If you plan to pick up on one of these two dates, please fill out this survey.

If you cannot come on those dates, but wish to designate a parent or other immediate family member, you must fill out and sign this form and your designee must bring this form and photo ID the day they come in to pick up the diploma. Your diploma cannot be mailed to you nor replaced, so please ensure whether appointing a designee to pick up your diploma is the decision you prefer or whether you would rather come yourself on a future date.

Whether you come or your designee comes, we ask that you please follow the NYS COVID travel advisory. Also, to enter the building, all visitors must complete the NYC DoE Health Screening (choose Guest).

All guests will enter the building from the main lobby entrance on Chambers Street and will have their temperature taken and health screening reviewed.

If you have textbooks, library books or English books still in your possession that you need to return to Stuyvesant or outstanding fees, you may take care of these matters on these dates. Please indicate to staff upon arrival if you need to access your locker.

All the best,

Ms. Casey J. Pedrick
