Call for Alumni Parent Volunteers at Camp Stuy on September 3, 2021

Dear parents and guardians, I hope that this email finds you well. In collaboration with the Parent's Association, we are reaching out to call for Alumni parent volunteers to assist with Camp Stuy for Parents on September 3, 2021. We need experienced parents like you to help us welcome incoming parents to the Stuyvesant family! You can offer advice during homeroom breakout sessions in classrooms, help sell Spirit Wear, or be a fundraising ambassador. No experience? No worries! The school as well as the PA will supply you with fact sheets and details to lean on. Health and safety is a priority so we ask that only those who register attend and stick to their assignment. We also ask that while at the building, all follow social distancing and remain masked at all times. All will be asked to perform the DOE Health Screening <https://healthscreening.schools.nyc/> on 9/3 as well as temperature checks. We've taken steps to reduce the number of people in the building and in classrooms; so instead of the usual half day session where we entertain over 700 parents and guardians, we have broken up Camp Stuy to two sessions with half attending in the morning from 8:30-11:30am. and half in the afternoon from 12:30-3:30pm assigned by homeroom. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. We hope you can join us and help make this reintegration to Stuy a smooth one for new families. Yearbook Shipping Update

Good morning, I hope that you have had a relaxing summer. Many are getting ready to send off their children to college, and I want to take this opportunity to say another Congratulations to the class of 2021 Stuy families. Below is a message from the Indicator Yearbook staff regarding the status of yearbook shipments. All the best, Dina Ingram Hi everyone, I hope you are having an enchanting evening! Please see the message below from the 2021 Indicator Editors-in-Chief about yearbook shipping updates. We wanted to address some concerns that people have expressed regarding the yearbook. 1. Firstly, we would like to apologize for the enormous delay in the yearbook delivery. Our yearbook representative stated that she would notify us once the yearbooks were shipped, but unfortunately we have yet to receive an email from her. 2. If you would like to change your shipping address (i.e. if you moved residences over the summer or to your dorm address), please email indicator2021(a)gmail.com<mailto:indicator2021@gmail.com> with your full name and your new address. Please do so by Sunday, August 29th (if you miss the deadline, please message either Katie Ng or Margaret Woo on Facebook before emailing in order to check that your address can still be changed). 3. We realize that a huge part of what makes the senior yearbook special is the autograph section, which most of us will not be able to partake in due to college. We are planning on organizing a yearbook signing meet up(s) at Stuyvesant during the month-long December break that most college students have off. We will plan the event to accommodate as many seniors as possible and in order to avoid conflict with any holidays. Thank you so much for bearing with these inconveniences, and we will update all graduated seniors as soon as possible with news regarding yearbook shipping.
