Dear Parents, Guardians and Students, We are thrilled to announce that we will be having Stuyvesant's 2022 graduation on Wednesday, June 22 at the Arthur Ashe Tennis Center in Flushing, Queens. Since this is such a large venue, each senior will be allowed to bring at least four guests. For those wishing to bring more than four, we will be holding a lottery to distribute these seats. In order to attend this year's graduation ceremony, all families must pay senior graduation dues of $65. To be clear, this is not $65 dollars per ticket, but $65 per graduate. Senior Grades are Visible on Talos & CR requests may be made for Fall Term 2021

Good afternoon Senior families, This is a copy of the information you were sent on January 28, 2022 with instructions on how to submit CR grade requests. Ahead of schedule, grades for Fall Term 2021 are now visible on Talos accounts and parents/guardians may submit requests through February 3, 2022 to be reflected on midyear transcripts to colleges. For those celebrating, have a joyous Lunar New Year. Best, Dina Dear parents and guardians, Your child will receive their report card via email on Tuesday February 8, 2021. Parents/guardians with Talos accounts will also receive them via email with comments translated in their written preferred languages and they will be visible in Talos under the “grades” tab in MP3 for 20221-2022 Term 1. Parents/guardians may choose to have any numerical passing grade of 65 or higher updated to a passing grade of “credit” (CR). Grades of “CR” will not be factored into students’ GPAs. If this is the choice you and your child make, you must communicate this request through your parent Talos account on talos.stuy.edu<https://talos.stuy.edu/>. Updated Schedule for 10/13/2021 - PSAT Day

October 9. 2021 Dear seniors, As a reminder, on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 Stuyvesant High School will administer the PSAT/NMSQT to interested 10th and 11th grade students in the morning. You will not attend school on the morning of October 13, 2021. Classes will begin at 12:54pm with a 1-10 period abbreviated schedule. October 13, 2021 is a regular school day where attendance will be taken, and classes will be attended by all grades after the exam is administered. Grades 9 and 12 should arrive in time for their classes following the schedule below. Students should not arrive earlier than 12:45pm for period 1 (or arrive in time for their scheduled first class). PSAT day is a NO TESTING DAY for ALL grades. You are encouraged to have lunch before arriving at Stuyvesant for afternoon classes. Dear Seniors and Parents/Guardians, We are aware that many of you have not been receiving emails from the College Office this week, or, receiving them after a delay of one or more days. And, that the corresponding messages in your Naviance accounts appear garbled with code. AND (as if that weren't enough), some of the URLs in said emails/messages have not been working. We are clearly experiencing problems with the Naviance messaging system. We have already contacted Naviance tech support and they are actively working to rectify these issues. We hope all is resolved soon.
