Hey Seniors,

In our final stretch of the year, we are beyond excited to close out senior year with a bang. Please read this email thoroughly and make sure to get all your forms in on time! 

Here is an overview of what’s on our agenda: 

1. To attend graduation, you must follow the Marching Order Instructions below!
2. Graduation Dues Reminder
3. Volunteer to be a Homeroom Reader at graduation here.
4. Prom Table Seating is open! Only table leaders should fill out the form here. 

 

Marching Order Instructions:

If you are planning on attending graduation, you must register with Marching Order, a company we use for the ceremony. A personalized Marching Order registration link was sent out to every Stuy email (check your spam if you did not receive it). The email has the subject line “Create Your Graduation Slide” and was sent by stuygraduation2022@gmail.com. Please follow the instructions in the email and register ASAP! This should be done by Friday, May 20th, or sooner. 

 

Graduation Dues Reminder:

Graduation dues must be paid by this Friday, May 13th, so that we can coordinate seating. Please pay your Senior Graduation Dues here. They are $65 and mandatory to cover the cost of the venue. This is different from the senior graduation packages, so please make sure you’ve purchased both.

 

Homeroom Readers:

We are still looking for two volunteers from every homeroom that will be responsible for reading names of students in their respective homerooms at the graduation ceremony. They will read the names aloud as their homeroom walks the stage. There will be ample time to practice the names. If you would like to help read the names for your homeroom, please fill out the form here by this Sunday, May 15th. 

 

Prom Table Seating:

For seating at prom, we will have tables of 10 or 12 people. If you do not have a group of 10 to 12, or are going by yourself or with a date, you have the option to be randomly assigned with others. Please refer to the instructions in this form to understand how to fill it out. For each group that is attending, there will be ONE Table Leader who will fill out the form with everyone who is sitting at their table, so please make sure to communicate with your table. 

We are looking forward to a great prom. If you haven’t purchased tickets yet, you can do so here. 

We understand that the price of prom can be a barrier to attending, and we want to ensure that every student has the opportunity to have a night to remember. If you believe you have demonstrated need, please fill out this form by Wednesday, May 18th at 11:59PM. We will try our best to work it out with you and help supplement the cost, though there are no guarantees!
