Dear Class of 2022, 

 

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation from Stuyvesant High School! We are very proud of your hard work over the last four unique years. As we approach the end of your final school year, please be reminded of the following procedures below. All seniors must complete the following by Thursday, June 23, 2022:

• Return all textbooks, library books and English reading books 
• Return all devices on loan including but not limited to iPads, webcams, Chromebooks, laptops with all chargers and charging cables 
• All fees must be cleared and payment of all College Board AP fees must be paid/reconciled 
• Lockers must be cleaned out and the locks left behind on the locker   

You may view the fees/books you have on your Talos student dashboard. If you have lost a charger and/or charging brick for an iPad, the cost is $20 each for the cord and brick totaling $40. If you have lost textbooks, library or reading books, their costs are listed on Talos. If you do not leave behind your lock on your locker, the fee is $14.  

 

Since we are administering Regents Examinations every day through Thursday, June 23, there is limited access to the building—only floors 1 and 2 will be available. Seniors can come to the building on the following dates and times to complete any of the required tasks. Please follow the time slots (we will not be able to let you enter the building before or after the window of time listed below): 

 

• Friday, June 17 from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm  
• Tuesday, June 21 from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm  
• Thursday, June 23 from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm  

All outstanding items must be returned, and all fees reconciled so that we can prepare diplomas and final documentation for graduation. The following will occur on Monday, June 27, 2022:  

 

• Graduating seniors will receive diplomas during Homeroom  
• Seniors who won awards but did not pick up their certificate on Senior Awards Night will pick them up outside of Room 211 
• Seniors who won awards with scholarships must sign for their check either in Room 105 or with the Alumni Association in Room 102 
• If a senior owes fees or devices and did not receive their diploma in homeroom on June 27; they should pay fees in room 209 and return devices there (only on 6/27).  

If a senior is not present on June 27, a parent/guardian or the senior themselves may pick up the diploma only on June 29 and/or June 30 between 9:00am - 2:00pm Parents and guardians may only pick up a diploma provided the graduate has signed the Diploma Release form. Your designee must bring this form and photo ID the day they come in to pick up the diploma. Your diploma cannot be mailed to you nor replaced, so please ensure whether appointing a designee to pick up your diploma is the decision you prefer or whether you would rather come yourself on a future date.
