Good morning juniors, Wishing you the best on your PSAT/NMSQT if you’re joining us this morning. Remember: * Doors open at 7:30am. Be in your assigned testing room by 8:15. * Do your Health Screening.<https://healthscreening.schools.nyc/> Enter the Bridge Entrance. * After the exam, you may get lunch (starting at 12:15pm) in the Cafe (PIZZA🍕or cold sandwich choices). You may exit after the exam through the Main Entrance. * Return and scan in at the building through the Bridge Entrance beginning at 12:45pm for regular classes to begin at 12:54pm with period 1 or your first class. Schedule below. * Reminders: * Cell phones and smart watches must be powered down and best placed in your bookbag at the front of the room. The College Board rules are that any student found in possession of a phone or smart watch during the test will have their exam invalidated. Any phone left powered on that rings during the test will have their exam invalidated. Any phone left powered on that rings or buzzes (even in an envelope on a teacher’s desk) can cause an exam to be invalidated) * Personal possessions must be placed at the front of the room; not under, in front of or behind a desk. * Nothing can be on your desk except: Two No. 2 pencils with eraser, (no mechanical pencils) valid school ID, and a calculator (see Approved Calculators<https://sat-dev1.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt-psat-10/taking-the-tests/test-…>). Please note only 11th graders are eligible for the NMSQT. October 13, 2021 will be a regular school day where attendance will be taken. Taking the exam is optional, not a requirement, and Stuyvesant High School in collaboration with the Alumni Association will be covering the costs associated with student registration fees for all 10th and 11th Stuyvesant students to take the exam. Fees for juniors who qualify will be reduced by the use of fee waivers. For this reason, it is important to fill out the Family Income Inquiry Form<https://www.myschoolapps.com/Home/PickDistrict> if you have been contacted.
