Good morning incoming families!

Below is a message sent on behalf of the Big Sib Chairs. Please note that the event below is not organized or attended by any school staff. It is student-organized and run and families may make their own decision as to whether they would like their child to participate. We encourage students to build friendships and know this is a particularly difficult time period to do so for the incoming freshman and those coming into 10th grade. Our Big Sibs strive to mentor and assist our incoming Little Sibs to their new environment at Stuy whether remote or blended. See their message below!

All the best,
Dina

Hi parents of the class of 2024!

We hope your summer is going well and everyone’s families are well and healthy. We are so happy to announce the first ever Big Sib Little Sib Virtual Field Day! Your children have the chance to participate in three activities ranging from Skribblio, Mafia, and Cooking Class to Trivia with their fellow Little Sibs and Big Sibs. We will close the day with a Virtual Concert, with performances by their (very talented) Big Sibs. They can sign up on the form that was sent to their stuy.edu emails!
If your children still haven’t gotten in touch with your big Sibs, they were also emailed a spreadsheet with Facebook groups of their respective homeroom. If they don't have Facebook, feel free to email us and we will connect them to their Big Sibs!
If you or your kids have any other comments, questions, or concerns, please free to email us at bigsibchairs21@gmail.com

The Big Sib Little Sib Virtual Field Day will take place on FRIDAY, AUGUST 28th at 12-3 PM, but the sign up form is due SATURDAY, AUGUST 22nd at 11:59 PM.

Best,
Aki, Anais, Andrea, Elena, and Henry
