Please see the message below regarding the upcoming registration for the SHSAT or high school admissions process should it be of interest. Please note the
deadline for SHSAT registration is this Friday, January 15 while the HA application period begins on January 19 and extends to February 23.

As announced by the DOE, the specialized high school exam will be administered on Wednesday, January 27th.
If you wish to retake the exam you must register online by January 15th. Please email Ms. Rhiman at srhiman@stuy.edu for
your welcome letter. In the subject line indicated SHSAT registration. You will need the creation code found on your welcome letter to register.
Additionally, the high school application process will open on January 19th. This is an opportunity for you to apply to high schools without the commitment of attending another school. This is a very unique opportunity to remain at Stuyvesant
while exploring other options. Think of it as shopping with a return policy.
The high school enrollment process is managed entirely by you. Stuyvesant high school administrators and staff are not made aware of your application. The entire process is completed through your myschools.nyc account. Please see the notification from the
DOE below.
High School Application:
· The high school application for students entering
high school in fall 2021 will open during the week of
January 19, 2021. Families and school staff will be notified when the application opens.
Families can use MySchools (
myschools.nyc)
to explore schools and submit their high school application with up to 12 program choices in preference order. Families who submit their application through their current school counselor, who can enter student applications in the school-facing MySchools site
(
school.myschools.nyc).

· The deadline for families to submit their high school
application is February 23, 2021.
