Dear Juniors (Class of 2025) and Families,
Stuyvesant High School will administer this year’s digital version of the PSAT/NMSQT on Saturday, October 14, 2023, in the morning and afternoon..
On Monday, October 2, 2023, juniors will receive an email with individualized test administration details including session window, room assignment, and other logistical details. Additionally, the school will provide the approved device required to take the digital exam. Please do not bring your personal device. Be on the lookout for this email so you are prepared for the PSAT/NMSQT administration.

will automatically register all juniors to take the exam and there is no cost to students/families for this
10/14/23
PSAT/NMSQT administration. Please note, students are not required to take the exam, and no notification is necessary to the school if you decide to
not
take the exam during this Saturday administration.
We
will assign students to one of the two windows below, so if you plan on taking the PSAT/NMSQT through the school, then we ask that you hold the 10/14 date. We will not take preference requests so please be prepared for either of the two sessions when you are
assigned.
Morning Window: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Afternoon Window: 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM
In the interim, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with what to expect and to practice this new version of the exam. We recommend you visit the College Board site for more information about the PSAT/NMSQT. Additionally, the school has provided you with a PSAT prep software called PrepScholar -- a self-paced adaptive test prep focused on more than 100 skill lessons and 7,100+ practice questions with explanations. You should have received an email to your Stuy.edu account in August from PrepScholar, so please check so you can register and use the platform immediately.
