Good afternoon parents and guardians,
Today, report cards were emailed to students via their stuy.edu email address. You also should have received or will receive a copy to your registered email address on Talos. Please note that report card comments are translated, therefore, it takes several hours for emails to roll out. The email comes from stuy(a)do-not-reply.mytalos.com. Check your spam, trash and junk folders if you don’t see it in your inbox by tonight.
Alternatively, you can check your child’s report card at any time on Talos by clicking GRADES in the center of the dashboard and then clicking MP1 on the far right. Scroll down the page to view the grades. Make sure you are in the School year 2024-2025 Term 1 at the top right.
You may also look at your NYC Schools Account to see report card grades. If you need assistance with your NYCSA account, please contact Ms. Tang at ntang5(a)schools.nyc,gov.
Remember you can keep up to date with your child’s classroom progress on your Jupiter account. If you need assistance with your Jupiter account, contact Mr. Lin at elin41(a)schools.nyc.gov.
All questions about a grade should go directly to the teacher. There is an email list on www.stuy.edu under the PARENTS tab.
All the best,
Dina

Dear Stuyvesant Families,
We received the following message from the New York State Education Department. Please read and review.
Dear parent or guardian,
Please let this serve as a reminder that you should not share personal or financial information over the phone with unsolicited callers. If you receive such a call, hang up immediately. We are sending this reminder because parents and/or guardians of children who have recently taken an SAT or PSAT exam have been receiving scam calls requesting personal information, including a credit card number, to mail the test results.
Additional tips about how to protect yourself from SAT test-related scams can be found on the Better Business Bureau<https://www.bbb.org/article/news-releases/23883-bbb-scam-alert-watch-out-fo…> website and below:
• Always be wary of unsolicited callers: If you receive a random call from someone asking for payment, research their organization before sharing any personal information.
• Double check with your child: If someone claims they're calling because of a service your child requested, hang up and check with your child first.
• Understand the College Board's practices: The College Board will never ask you for your bank or credit card information over the phone or through email.
• Don't give your financial information to strangers: Never agree to pay a stranger with any form of payment for a purchase you didn't initiate.
Thank you,
Privacy Office and Information Security Office
