Dear parent/guardian, For the safety of our students and our school communities, it’s important that New York City Public Schools (NYCPS) and school staff are able to contact a trusted guardian in the event there is an emergency at the school or concerning a student in attendance. This is stipulated in Chancellor's Regulation A-210 Section III-G<https://www.schools.nyc.gov/about-us/policies/chancellors-regulations/volume...>. We are reaching out to ensure that the emergency contact information for your child has an updated current address and contact information of a trusted adult who can and will be able to come to school in the event of an emergency. You may update your student's emergency contact and health information online through your New York City Schools Account (NYCSA) at schoolsaccount.nyc. You may also provide this information on paper by requesting a blue emergency contact card, which your child may retrieve in room 103. The preferred method is the NYCSA account so that this information transfers to our internal systems like Talos and Jupiter seamlessly. If you need assistance with your NYCSA account, please contact Ms. Tang at ntang5@schools.nyc.gov<mailto:ntang5@schools.nyc.gov>. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with questions or concerns.
