Chancellor's Family Letter and Reminders Regarding Supporting Immigrant Students

Good morning Stuyvesant families, Please see the linked letter from Chancellor Melissa Aviles-Ramos. This letter reminds families that New York City Public Schools is dedicated to protecting the right of every student to attend public school, regardless of immigration status, national origin, or religion; encourages families to continue sending their students to school; notes that we do not track students’ immigration status; and informs families about our protocols regarding non-local law enforcement entering our schools, as we continue to train staff on these protocols. You may read the letter in English<https://www.schools.nyc.gov/docs/default-source/default-document-library/fam...>, Chinese<https://www.schools.nyc.gov/docs/default-source/default-document-library/fam...>, Korean<https://www.schools.nyc.gov/docs/default-source/default-document-library/fam...>, Bangla<https://www.schools.nyc.gov/docs/default-source/default-document-library/fam...> and Spanish<https://www.schools.nyc.gov/docs/default-source/default-document-library/fam...> (other languages at this link<https://www.schools.nyc.gov/about-us/messages-for-families>).
