Hey Class of 2026,
In a little under two weeks, you all will be stepping into the Stuyvesant Building
to start your freshman year! Some of you may feel enthusiastic, while others may be nervous and anxious about what is to come. Don’t fret because that’s where we come in to help!
We are the Big Sib Chairs for the 2022-2023 school year! Coming into Stuy can be a
massive adjustment, and often difficult to find an outlet for support and assistance. The Big Sib Program consists of upperclassmen who are readily available as a resource for tackling academics, extracurriculars, and the general Stuyvesant environment. As
Big Sib Chairs, we organize the Big Sib Program with the help of administration to provide as many resources as possible, hold fun events, and be your homeroom buddies. You already had the opportunity to meet your Big Sibs during Camp Stuy Part 1, and we can’t
wait to meet y’all this Wednesday, August 31st.
Also, we wanted to extend a message from The Spectator, Stuyvesant’s student-run newspaper.
