Dear Stuyvesant Community, We hope you had a restful three-day weekend. This week, we welcome back students to the building on Thursday. Important information for families is in this week's Update for blended families. There are also important links for all and expectations for families of all remote learners. Please note that the main page of the Stuy Blog <https://talos.stuy.edu/cms/pages/stuyvesant-blog/> is this week's news. I encourage you to visit the Blog as the Update is only brief highlights. Department News Links will take you to directly to specific departments with the newest items at the top. You'll access the SPARK Newsletter and the Opportunities Bulletin in the Update as well. Students will begin to pick up devices as they are delivered to Stuyvesant, and with the assistance of our Alumni Association and Parent's Association, we hope to accommodate as many students as possible with requests. As you link to the news and stories from the Update, you'll note that the Main Blog Page is comprised of only newest events. Department news pages catalog the newest items at the top. This format eliminates the need to read a lengthy document. Getting used to navigating the Information Hub on Talos, Blog and Document Hub will help you see all the photos and events and news happening at Stuy and link to the other newsletters at Stuyvesant. There will be supplemental emails and documents emailed as the new format evolves. New events are posted daily to the Main Blog Page on Talos. Enjoy the week ahead! If you haven’t already received join codes to google classrooms, you will receive then from your teachers along with links to join their live instruction forums. * All classes are remote today and tomorrow, September 16-18. * Today you will attend periods 1 through 5. * Periods are 55 minutes long with 10 minutes passing. * You do not attend 8:30-9 - it’s for teachers; so 2:50-3:20. * Period 1 begins at 9:10am. * You do not take attendance on Talos.
