Dear Students, You will receive your report cards shortly on Talos. Please note that from now until tomorrow morning, the “Current Term” on Talos will be reverted to “Term 1”. You may see the Spring Term and your schedule, etc by toggling to “Term 2” in the upper right corner. We need to make this change to send your report cards from Term 1 of the Fall semester without affecting today’s attendance which just closed out a short time ago. If you want to see your report card on Talos, click “grades” on your student dashboard then “MP3” making sure you are in “Term 1”. Dear Stuyvesant Students, Stuyvesant will host a virtual lunch with students and staff on Friday, February 5 between 11 and 3pm on Zoom in honor of ‘No Child Eats Alone Day<https://www.nooneeatsalone.org/>’ and ‘Respect For All Week<https://www.schools.nyc.gov/school-life/school-environment/respect-for-all>’. Please join the Zoom link below on Friday for even a few minutes to chat with administrators, counselors, teachers and staff and have an informal back and forth and share your lunchtime. There will be counselors that will be on Zoom each half hour shift as well as other administrators throughout the day joined by staff. We hope that many of you will join us. NYC Schools Account Inquiries

Good afternoon Stuyvesant Students, Happy Spring Semester! I know you are all anxious to see your Fall Term grades. Report Cards are being distributed tomorrow, Wednesday, February 3. Many, many students have contacted counselors and I regarding obtaining NYC Schools Accounts or have attempted to create accounts online. Please note, there are no NYC Schools Accounts provided to students at mystudent.nyc. The NYCSA is a parent profile account specific to each parent/guardian. Parent account information and/or creation codes will not be shared with students or created with any student email address or at the request of the student. This is a parent/guardian account that the DOE now uses to identify and contact the parent/guardian and part of their profile in the central system and our school level systems. Parents and guardians who have not activated their accounts may reach out to me directly for assistance. Good Morning Stuy Students, Happy Spring Semester and SNOW DAY! We hope you are warm and safe. Today is a student non-attendance day. There are no classes. Staff will engage in Professional Development. Tomorrow is the first official day of the Spring Semester, and finalized schedules are visible on Talos. School Counselors are available throughout the day for questions and concerns via email. February is Black History Month and today, February 1 is National Freedom Day. I encourage you to read about it in the Weekly Update and Mr. Colon's Newsletter. All month, I'll be sharing out great moments in Black History as well as on a 'local' level at Stuy.
