Good morning Stuy community, Below is the link to Weekly Update #22. Coming up this week is a special virtual presentation on 2/8 at 6:30pm for families on Stuy’s Support Services. Don’t miss your opportunity to hear from newly appointed Assistant Principal, Ms. Gina Paulson. Register for the zoom meeting at the link in the update. The Indicator Yearbook will be having a valentine’s sale this week daily outside room 211 — send some treats or flowers to a friend for Valentine’ Day! It’s National School Counselors Week! Students may stop by the hallway at the top of the marble stairs to leave a note of gratitude for counselors; families, students and staff members can send notes of appreciation via the DOE All Stars page to thank them for all their support. Report cards will be emailed tomorrow, and instructions for families to submit CR grade requests will be sent out via email later today. Enjoy the week ahead! Good morning students, As a reminder, the deadline for voting in the Participatory Budget process is tomorrow, Friday, 2/2. Be sure to cast your vote: Stuyvesant High School, along with other high schools in NYC, has been given the opportunity to decide democratically how we enhance our school through additional funds allocated to us by the DOE. This process is called “participatory budgeting,”** and, this year the process began with the Student Union researching viable options and ends with your voice. Additionally, the School Counseling Department announces the return of both Cope with Crochet and Connect & Create for Spring 2024! They will be hosting weekly crochet groups for crochet enthusiasts of all levels as well as Connect & Create arts and crafts groups. Both are great ways to take your mind off current stressors and give yourself a chance to relax. Whether you would like to make a coaster for your mugs, increase your personal amigurumi collection, or experiment with Model Magic and watercolor, we welcome you!
