Good morning Students!
Today you will report to your first day of classes with your teachers! If you haven’t already received join codes to google classrooms, you will receive then from your teachers along with links to join their live instruction forums.
- All classes are remote today and tomorrow, September 16-18.
- Today you will attend periods 1 through 5.
- Periods are 55 minutes long with 10 minutes passing.
- You do not attend 8:30-9 - it’s for teachers; so 2:50-3:20.
- Period 1 begins at 9:10am.
- You do not take attendance on Talos. Teachers will take attendance in each class.
- Here is the bell schedule located under the “students” tab at
www.stuy.edu.
- For incoming students; if you have a blank period on your schedule, it is a “free period”.
- Follow your schedule on Talos for each period.
- You will receive many documents and forms from me in a separate email to you and your parents, at this time, you may read the Instructional Expectations
for Fall 2020 as well as the Grading Framework/Late Policy on Talos in the Information Hub Guides folder.
- We will ask that you and your parent/guardian review and sign the Academic Integrity Policy next week in Talos; do not sign or email
it to me. We will be sending other policies and forms to review in a separate email with instructions on uploading to the Forms Manager in Talos.
- We are reviewing those with device requests and needs and will be in touch shortly.
- Please read your stuy.edu email daily.
