Dear  students and families,

 

As a reminder, fall registration for Advanced Placement (AP) exams has been ongoing. AP exam registration is required for students who desire to sit for AP exam(s) and can only be completed by students at myap. Students use the Join Code provided by their teachers if they are currently enrolled in an AP course. The AP Exam payment portal is now open. 

 

Payment for AP exams is a separate step from AP exam registration.

*NOTE: Students who qualify have historically had their AP exams fees waived by the NYC Department of Education (NYC DOE). If this letter indicates a status of “NO COST”, students should register only; and not pay for exams using the payment portal. This does not apply to late registration fees and/or no show and cancellation fees. Do not check off or pay late fees if you register by November 8, 2023. Families may complete the Family Income Inquiry Form if the “source” indicated on this letter reads “No Application”. You may also fill out the form to ratify your current status. It takes several days to reflect entries and/or changes in the school’s system. Fees must be paid by the deadline whether the status changes or not. If refunds are necessary, they will be processed before the end of the school year.

Please note, the schedule students see on their College Board accounts may not be the schedule that Stuyvesant will follow. We will post a schedule for AP Exams at Stuyvesant High School on the School Website at the start of the spring 2024 term. Dates are subject to change if necessary, based on changing circumstances and factors. We will update you with any changes.
