Dear Stuyvesant Students,

Last night, we invited your parents and guardians (and some of you were able to attend as well) to a Town Hall/Listening session on the Return to Stuyvesant for Fall 2020. Principal Contreras, Assistant Principal, Dr. Gary Haber and I want to thank PA President, Alex Shafran for co-hosting this opportunity for community input and for his collaborating and hard work and also thank Program Chair, Mr. Jonathan Cheng for attending and answering questions and concerns.

We appreciated the parents who voiced the concerns and questions of so many as well as the questions that came through the Q&A throughout the evening. We emphasized the importance of listening at the event and gathering information and know that you and your families are eager to receive answers to those questions. While we may be awaiting clarification of many details ourselves, you will receive some answers to questions and data today at the School Leadership Team meeting where we will present information along with a review of the Town hall and hear from other constituencies, including students; so we encourage you to view the livestream this afternoon, Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 3:45pm on YouTube.
Please request a link to the livestream here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/113220409292.
