Good Morning Stuy Students,

Happy Spring Semester and SNOW DAY! We hope you are warm and safe. Today is a student non-attendance day. There are no classes. Staff will engage in Professional Development. Tomorrow is the first official day of the Spring Semester, and finalized schedules are visible on Talos.
School Counselors are available throughout the day for questions and concerns via email.

February is Black History Month and today, February 1 is National Freedom Day. I encourage you to read about it in the Weekly Update and Mr. Colon's Newsletter. All month, I'll be sharing out great moments in Black History as well as on a 'local' level at Stuy. We kick off with twin Alumni '95, the Blackstock sisters. Please read more of their inspiring stories in the Update.

Exciting things are planned in this short but busy month - and report cards are on the way on Wednesday. Read the important information on CR requests.

Tonight is StuySquad's Annual Performance at 5pm! FREE live stream on Youtube. Make some hot chocolate and enjoy the snow and watch it at home! www.facebook.com/events/1119986041771638

Enjoy the snow and stay safe,
Ms. Ingram
