Dear Students, Families, and Staff,

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning in effect until 2:30pm today, and New York City Public Schools have activated a “shelter-in-place” for all schools. Starting Period 8, students will not be allowed to leave the building for lunch or for dismissal. We’re bringing students into the building and will continue to provide updates as we receive them. 

We will not be dismissing students until we receive notification that the “shelter-in-place” is lifted. We will continue to provide updates over the public announcement system in the building and will send out communication over email as we receive guidance. 

All after school activities including PSAL and this afternoon’s Chamber Music Concert are canceled. 

We will provide additional updates about dismissal shortly.
