Dear Stuyvesant Students and Families,

 

It is with both happiness for Assistant Principal McAuliffe and sadness for us that I share the news of Ms. McAuliffe’s departure at the end of this school year. Ms. McAuliffe will be the new Principal, I.A., at P.S. 55, Henry M. Boehm Elementary School in Staten Island starting July 1, 2023. I am so grateful for Ms. McAuliffe’s leadership during her time at Stuyvesant. She has consistently been full of positive energy and optimism in helping lead during the challenging and more stable times these past few years. I have been so impressed with her enthusiasm and support for her team’s many achievements in World Language, Music, and Art (which she led in the past), which consequently, produced an abundance of opportunities for our young people to showcase their talents and abilities inside and outside of the classroom. Ms. McAuliffe has worked in partnership with all constituents to help make Stuyvesant an exemplar for excellence in all the varied endeavors pursued. I want to thank her for her dedication, hard work, and leadership during her time at Stuyvesant. Her new community will be fortunate to have her lead their school.
