I hope you were able to tune in to the Chancellor’s Return to Schools 2020 live stream this evening. He provided many long awaited answers to questions you have asked about such as whether temperatures will be taken if you return to schools - yes - and whether schools will be cleaned and disinfected nightly - yes - and whether ventilation systems have been checked and maintained - yes. He also answered questions regarding music classes, and physical education and how the DOE and UFT are in discussion about expectations regarding live instruction and extending perhaps the summer school model. The summer school model right now is that each 1.5 hour period daily begins with half of it in synchronous instruction.
