Please note re: submitting remote only option to DOE by 8/7

Dear Stuy families: Some families have reached out to the DOE frustrated that they are having technical difficulties trying to submit their preference for remote-only instruction this fall. Please see below: ONLY IF families encounter issues as they try to submit the DOE Learning Preference Survey they can call 311 and the survey will be submitted on their behalf. The deadline to submit is tomorrow, August 7th. The Learning Preference Survey<https://www.nycenet.edu/surveys/learningpreference> is now OPEN. Families, have until August 7th to choose from two options: 1. 100% Remote Learning: Opt in to have their child learn 100% remotely (all online, from home) OR 2. Combination of In-Person and Remote Learning: Child can follow their school's schedule, a mix of in-person days at school and remote learning days from home Only families opting for 100% Remote Learning need to complete this survey<https://www.nycenet.edu/surveys/learningpreference>. Families who chose 100% Remote Learning and submit a form but change their preference prior to August 7th, can do so by resubmitting the survey. After August 7th, any family who chose 100% Remote Learning will have the option to change back to Blended Learning at a few specific times during the school year.
