Dear Stuyvesant Families, This morning, there was police activity due to an incident at a nearby subway station. The administration and school safety are aware, and we are in touch with the NYPD 1st precinct. We will continue to communicate with the NYPD and the 1st precinct for any additional updates. Finally, school safety’s task force and the 1st precinct will provide additional support at today’s dismissal. Students should stay vigilant during free periods/lunch and to/from home. We continue to encourage students to travel in groups, be attentive during their commute, and to stay alert when walking. Mr. Moran and Ms. Ingram will be meeting with members of the PA Safety Committee this week. If you have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
